American Red Cross courses for the community

Community First Aid and Safety: (9 hours) This day-long session teaches first-aid with adult, infant and child CPR. It teaches students to recognize and care for injuries or sudden illnesses until advanced medical help can take over, including breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants. Students will receive certification in First Aid (good for three years), Adult CPR (good for one year), Infant and Child CPR (good for one year).

First Aid: (4 hours) This course teaches hands-on first aid and explains the role of AED in emergency cardiac care. Students will receive certification in First Aid (good for three years).

Infant/Child CPR: (5 1/2 hours) Hands-on skills training for CPR prepares participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children under the age of 8. Students will receive certification in Infant and Child CPR (good for one year).

Adult CPR: (3 3/4 hours) For individuals who need adult CPR training only, this hands-on skills training includes information on the role of AEDs in emergency cardiac care. Students will receive certification in Adult CPR (good for one year).

Preventing Disease Transmission (Bloodborne Pathogens) (2 hours) Useful for the average household, this course explains how disease is transmitted and shows participants how to prevent disease transmission.

Workplace Safety Training

Build the program that's right for your company. Start with Standard First Aid and CPR/Automated External Defibrillation (AED) training. Add optional modules to address your specific workplace needs. Have your training on-site. Meet all your training program needs in one convenient day. Courses and modules are designed to fit a 6 1/2-hour union workday, so you train more efficiently and keep your employees on the job. Plus you have the satisfaction of knowing your employees are safe because their emergency and safety skills came from the best in safety training.

Standard First Aid with AED: (6 1/2 hours) The most comprehensive training course, this day-long session teaches first-aid, adult CPR and AED skills. It teaches students to recognize and care for injuries or sudden illnesses until advanced medical help can take over. Students will receive certification in First Aid (good for three years) and Adult CPR/AED (good for one year).

Standard First Aid: (5 1/2 hours) This course teaches hands-on first aid and adult CPR training and explains the role of AED in emergency cardiac care. Students will receive certification in First Aid (good for three years) and Adult CPR (good for one year).

Adult CPR/AED: (4 1/2 hours) Hands-on skills training for adult CPR and AED prepares participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. Students will receive certification in Adult CPR/AED (good for one year).

Adult CPR: (3 3/4 hours) For employees who need adult CPR training only, this hands-on skills training includes information on the role of AEDs in emergency cardiac care. Students will receive certification in Adult CPR (good for one year).

Injury Control Modules: (1 hour each) Focusing on common causes of worksite injuries and key health risks, these one-hour awareness-level modules highlight risks and promote prevention. Modules include: Ergonomics; Slips, Trips and Falls; Back Injury Prevention; Your Heart Matters; Workplace Violence Awareness; Managing Stress.

Preventing Disease Transmission (Bloodborne Pathogens) and Oxygen Administration for the Lay Responder are both 2 hour modules that can be added to any of the other Workplace Safety Training courses.

Professional Rescuer

Come to Ti-Dragon Enterprises for the specialized courses your professional team need.

Emergency Response: (46 1/2-53 hours) This course is designed for training first responders and meets current national DOT standards for First Responders. Students will receive certification in Emergency Response (good for three years) and CPR for the Professional Rescuer (good for one year).

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer: (9 hours) Intended for individuals who have a responsibility to respond to an emergency as part of their job, this course covers 2-person CPR as well as techniques for special rescue situations, among other topics. Students will receive certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer (good for one year).

Oxygen Administration for the Professional Rescuer: (2 hours) This course teaches professional rescuers how to recognize emergency situations requiring the administration of oxygen, and how to use resuscitation masks and oxygen equipment. Students will receive certification in Oxygen Administration (good for one year).
